Please contact me by phone or e-mail to set up an interview at a time that works for both of us. I prefer to set up initial interviews after hours or on quieter days, so I can give you most of my attention. I will gladly do a second interview or a play date on a busier day afterwards, so you can meet the other children in care.
Choosing a family to join our daycare family, is just as difficult for me as it is for you! I have to take into consideration the dynamics of my existing group of children, a schedule workable for my family, the regulated limit of 5 daycare children in care at any one time, and of course a good fit in parenting philosophies. I am also looking for families that will likely stay with me for the long term, and chose my home daycare for me, and the type of care I provide.
I strongly suggest that you meet with several childcare providers. Each provider runs their daycare differently, has a different personality, and when you find the right fit, your gut will tell you! I am confident there is perfect match of care for every family.
After the interview, please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested in my care, as I cannot hold your spot until we have signed the childcare agreement and I have received your deposit.
If I have more than one interested family for the same spot, I will choose the family based on "best fit", not "first come first served".
